NOVEMBER 2021

Last month we organised the 13th edition of ICRIER’s Flagship Annual International G20 Conference on, ‘Global Economic Coordination in the Age of Pandemic: Views from the G20 Members’. The inaugural address was marked by keynote addresses from Smt. Nirmala Sitharaman, hon’ble Finance Minister of India and Shri Piyush Goyal, Minister of Commerce and Industry and the G20 Sherpa for India. Spread over three-days, the virtual conference saw participation from several dignitaries, and it was attended by over 500 people.

Keeping pace with global engagements, ICRIER organised a webinar on ‘India’s Options and Strategies for COP26 Negotiations’ on the eve of the Glasgow Summit. We also organised a Webinar on 'Gender Mainstreaming at Integrated Check Posts in India'. Quick bites and full length videos of these three events are placed below.

October was also a busy month for our researchers. The second bulletin of AF-TAB was published. Our faculty members published 15 Op-ed articles and one working paper during October 2021.
