Latika Khatwani works as a Research Assistant at the Indian Council for Research on International Economic Relations (ICRIER) in the Growth, Employment, and Macroeconomy (GEM) Department. She holds a Master’s degree with a specialization in Trade and Finance from the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade and completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Delhi, where she was awarded the Gold Medal for her batch.

Latika has previously interned at NITI Aayog in the Economics & Finance Vertical and at the Ministry of Commerce and Tradepenatrate. She is passionate about leveraging analytics and research to drive impactful economic policies and business strategies. Her areas of interest include macroeconomics, agriculture, and trade.

In addition to her professional endeavors, she is the Co-founder and Vice President of Girl Up Aurum, a United Nations initiative dedicated to securing equal rights for young girls in developing nations.
