Shailly Gupta has international experience across diverse geographies in policy research and programme management. She specializes in poverty alleviation, education policy, skills development, innovation and entrepreneurship and resilient infrastructure development.
Shailly has served at various international organisations such as the Coalition for Disaster Resilient Infrastructure (CDRI) where she contributed to G20 efforts for disaster risk reduction, flagship digital knowledge exchange and learning efforts, research, and national and international capacity development initiatives. She has previously also worked for the International Labour Office in Geneva, UNESCO MGIEP, Brookings Institution India Center and interned at UN ESCAP in Thailand and NCAER, India. Shailly has contributed many peer-reviewed Technical Papers, blogs and published her maiden fictional novel, “Just How, I Wonder?” in 2020 on global goals for youth empowerment and innovation.
Shailly holds a Master of Public Administration in Science, Technology, and Infrastructure Policy from Cornell University and a Master of Education in International Education Policy from Harvard University. Her hobbies include swimming, writing and traveling.
