Network for Economic Policies for Women-led Development (EPWD)
Invitation for Blog Posts
The Network for Economic Policies for Women-led Development (EPWD) is a collaborative platform to share actionable ideas for promoting women-led development in India. EPWD invites contributions from experts on ideas, research or best practices that encompass various dimensions of women-led development.
Submission Guidelines:
The articles submitted as blog posts for EPWD should:
- Embed a gender lens in one of the six focus areas: tax & expenditure, finance, trade, digital, labour markets and social protection, culture
- Provide actionable policy insights and recommendations addressing gender issues that have received less attention in the past.
- Address perspectives on the implementation and impact of government schemes and programs that promote women’s participation in the economy
- Synthesize best practices across the globe on mainstreaming gender into economic policies
The articles can be in the form of data stories, observations from primary survey, field research, or empirical studies that examine the broad topic of mainstreaming gender into macro-economic policies.
The word limit is 800 - 1000 words
All submissions will undergo a review by EPWD’s editorial committee, and feedback will be provided to authors for potential revisions.
Selected contributors will receive an honorarium of INR 5,000 and will benefit from the opportunity to share their insights with our extensive network of over 10,000 policymakers, industry experts, and academicians.
