  • Dr. Isher Judge Ahluwalia, Team Leader
    IJA ISHER JUDGE AHLUWALIA is Chairperson, Indian Council for Research on International Economic Relations (ICRIER), where she also leads the Research and Capacity Building Program on Urbanisation in India. She was Chairperson of the High Powered Expert Committee on Urban Infrastructure and Services from 2008 to 2011 and is currently on the Board of the Urban Institute of India.     Prof. Meenu Tewari, HUDCO Chair Professor
    Meenu Meenu Tewari is HUDCO Chair Visiting Professor at ICRIER and Associate Professor at the Department of City and Regional Planning, University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She is also a Faculty Fellow at the Centre for Urban and Regional Studies at the University. Earlier, Dr Tewari was Lecturer at the Department of Urban Studies and Planning, MIT during 1997-2000, and Post-doctoral Fellow at IFO Institute of Economic Growth, Munich in 1996-97. She received her Ph.D. in Economic Development from Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), Cambridge; S.M. Arch.S., M.C.P (Economic and International Development) from MIT; and B.Arch. from the School of Planning and Architecture, New Delhi.
     
    Dr. Radhicka Kapoor, Fellow
    Radhicka Kapoor is a Fellow at ICRIER. Earlier, she worked at the Planning commission in 2011-13 on the XIIth Five Year Plan, and was also a Consultant at the ILO in 2005-06. She received her Ph.D. in Economics from LSE, U. K., Economics Tripos from Cambridge University, U. K., and B.A. (Eco. Honours) from St Stephens College, Delhi University.
     
    Dr. Deepak Santhanakrishnan, Fellow

    Deepak Santhanakrishnan is a Fellow at ICRIER. Prior to joining ICRIER, he worked as a Research Fellow at the National University of Singapore in 2012. He received his Ph.D. in Engineering Design from University of Cambridge, U. K; M.Sc. from University of Glasgow, U. K.; and B.E. (First Class with Distinction) from Bharathiar University.
     
    Mr. Sahil Gandhi, Consultant
    Sahil Gandhi is a consultant at ICRIER. He recently submitted his doctoral dissertation at the Department of Economics, University of Mumbai. His doctoral thesis focused on urban housing and land markets, and metropolitan public finances in the Mumbai Metropolitan region.
    He has published in international and national journals. He has also worked on projects commissioned by the Lincoln Institute of Land Policy, World Bank, Ministry of Urban Development (GoI), and Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai. His research interests lie in the areas of Urban Economics, Urban Studies, New Institutional Economics, Economics of Governance, and Political Economy.
     
    Mr. Sirus J Libeiro, Research Associate
    Sirus J. Libeiro is a Research Associate at ICRIER. He joined the organization in October, 2013. Prior to that, he was a project fellow at the Vibhooti Shukla Centre for Urban Economics and Regional Development, University of Mumbai (2011-2013). He received his M.A. in Economics from the University of Mumbai, and B.A. (Economics Honours) from St. Xavier’s College, Mumbai.
     
    Mr. Sri Siddhartha Ayyagiri, Research Assistant

    Siddhartha is a Research Assistant at ICRIER. He joined the organization in October, 2013. He received his Masters in Planning (Urban and Regional Planning) from Faculty of Planning and Public Policy, CEPT University, Ahmedabad, and Bachelors in Planning from JNA&FA University, Hyderabad. 
     
    Ms. Manpreet Kaur Juneja, Research Assistant
    Manpreet Kaur Juneja, Research Assistant, She has completed Masters in Economics with Distinction from the London School of Economics. Previously, she did B.A. (H) Economics from Hansraj college, Delhi University. She has done Public Finance and Econometrics methods programme from the LSE and also has prepared Market Catchment Research Report for Future Group's.
     
    Ms. Priti Rajput, Private Secretary

    She is a private secretary – Urban Team, at ICRIER. She has served as a Human Resource professional in LORDS (NGO), with recruitment firms, Vertex India Pvt. Limited and Krati Architects before joining ICRIER. She received her BA (Honours) Arabic from Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi and MBA from Nagpur University.
