Sajal Jain is a Fellow in the Climate Change, Urbanisation, and Sustainability division at ICRIER. She has over 6 years of experience and works on a wide range of topics spanning clean energy employment, climate financing, climate negotiations, electric mobility, e-waste, renewable energy, and industrial competitiveness. Her noteworthy projects include estimating Nationally Determined Contribution target implementation costs in India, contributing towards estimation of India’s adaptation expenditure for the India’s initial Adaptation Communication, clean energy employment estimation. She holds a MSc in Economics and International Financial Economics from University of Warwick, United Kingdom and B.A. in Economics (Hons.) from University of Delhi.Her research interests include green employment, climate adaptation, circular economy, EVs, green financing, climate negotiations and international impact, and renewable energy.
