This project examined India’s trade and investment opportunities and areas of concerns in selected service sectors for the Doha Round of WTO negotiations. The study findings have been used by the government in drawing up the requests/ offers in the Doha Round. As a part of this project, studies were conducted on Maritime Transport services; Construction, Architecture and Engineering services; Audio-visual, Recreational, Cultural and Sporting services; Distribution services; Road Transport services, Rail transport Services and Energy services. After the successful completion of these studies, ICRIER created a niche for itself in services research.
