UK-India Economic Policy and Prosperity Partnership (EPPP)

The Department for International Development (DFID), UK, is supporting Government of India’s reform programmes under the UK-India Economic Policy and Prosperity Partnership (EPPP), which includes research and capacity building of Indian central government agencies. PwC India was the consortium lead for this initiative and ICRIER was the consortium partner. Twenty research studies had been commissioned, based on request received from the Department of Economic Affairs (DEA) and other departments under Ministry of Finance for their G20 negotiations and domestic policymaking.  The core aim of this project was to build the capacity for India’s G20 Presidency in the year 2022 and provide research-based inputs for policymaking across multiple sectors.
