Jayant holds a B.Tech in Electrical Engineering and an M.Tech in Energy Management from DAVV, Indore. He is a power and energy sector professional with experience in energy transition, climate finance, energy efficiency, power-sector research, policy analysis, energy conservation modelling, and power-sector forecasting.
Prior to joining ICRIER, he worked with the Power Foundation of India. His professional experience encompasses industrial energy efficiency, energy conservation measures, technology assessment, energy and water audits, and policy research. Beyond his professional pursuits, Jayant has a keen interest in mathematics, particularly solving complex equations, exploring mathematical theorems, and tackling analytical challenges. He also enjoys playing the flute and exploring other musical instruments.
