However, they now face unprecedented challenges—climate change, financial instability, and increasing geopolitical fragmentation. These institutions are being asked to adapt in new and unfamiliar ways, from addressing climate-related shocks to navigating geopolitical and economic tensions while maintaining their legitimacy and effectiveness.
