Suvangi Rath is a PhD in Agricultural Economics from the Odisha University of Agriculture and Technology, Bhubaneswar, Odisha. Her PhD was done in collaboration with The National Institute of Science Education and Research (NISER), Bhubaneswar and ICAR-National Institute of Agricultural Economics and Policy Research (NIAP), New Delhi. She specializes in the Valuation of Agricultural Ecosystem Services. Suvangi is also a philanthropic entrepreneur and owns her online publication house-Vigyan Varta An International E-Magazine for Science Enthusiasts (E-ISSN: 2582-9467) since 2020. She was the gold medallist in her masters and has represented her MSc and PhD work internationally. Suvangi has numerous awards and honours to her credit. She was also awarded with the International Study Visit Travel Grant from the Agricultural Economics Society, UK for attending the 21st Swiss Climate Summer School in 2023. Her research outputs include journal articles, book chapters, popular articles, training compendiums and reports at national and international levels. She has been working with different national and international institutes for her research on ecosystem services. Suvangi’s hobbies include compering, music, poetry, art and craft and other literary and cultural activities.
