Geetika Gupta is a Research Assistant at the Indian Council for Research on International Economic Relations (ICRIER). She holds a Master’s degree in Economics (Finance and Trade) from the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (2024) and a B.A. (Hons.) in Economics from the University of Delhi (2022).
Prior to joining ICRIER, she worked as an Executive at the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), where she contributed to policy research and stakeholder consultations in the infrastructure and civil aviation sectors. She has also interned with the Directorate General of Foreign Trade, Ministry of Commerce and Industry, where she worked on issues related to trade finance and district-level export competitiveness.
Her interests lie in leveraging data and empirical analysis to support informed policymaking. She enjoys travelling and engaging in social impact activities.
