Kumar Abhishek is a Consultant with the Growth, Employment and Macroeconomics (GEM) team at ICRIER. He is an empirical inter-disciplinary economic researcher with over 5 years of experience, who seeks to answer real-world problems through a data-driven approach. His areas of expertise are industrial economics, public finance, and labour economics. He holds a Master in Economics from the Delhi School of Economics and an M.Phil. in Economics from Jawaharlal Nehru University. In the past, he has worked on consultancy assignments for ADB and IFPRI with Late Prof. Deb Kusum Das.
