Direct selling is a form of non-store retail format. This study provided an overview of the direct selling sector in India and examined its socio-economic impact. It examined the barriers faced by the industry, including regulatory gaps. The report made policy recommendation to sustain the growth of this sector and for development of entrepreneurship. One of the key recommendations was to help create a supporting environment for flexible jobs for women with facilities to work from home.
