Tanu M Goyal has over 13 years of policy-oriented research experience. She is a Senior Fellow with ICRIER, and has been associated with ICRIER since the year 2008. During this period, she has led and contributed to projects funded by the Indian Government, international aid agencies, the private sector and industry associations, among others. Her research interests include international trade in services, trade agreements, services value chain and G20 issues. Apart from these areas, she has worked on projects related to food supply chain, foreign direct investments, development assistance and the retail sector.
She has contributed to two books, published by Sage Publications and Springer and she has authored/co-authored several journal articles, book chapters, working papers, opinion pieces in popular media and several research reports.
Tanu has a PHD from Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi.
