Dr. Diksha as a Fellow in the CCUS Team at ICRIER. Dr. Diksha holds a PhD in Agricultural Economics and has a professional degree in Forestry, bringing an interdisciplinary perspective to her work in natural resource management and sustainable agricultural systems. She is an agricultural economist engaged in policy-oriented research with a focus on agricultural economics and sustainability.

Prior to joining ICRIER, she was associated with the ICAR–National Institute of Agricultural Economics and Policy Research, New Delhi, where she worked on Trees Outside Forests in India, including policy analysis, stakeholder engagement, and market development of wood-based products. Her research also covers carbon markets and ecosystem service valuation. Her doctoral work focused on Farmer Producer Organizations and their role in improving farm efficiency and market access. She has also contributed to teaching undergraduate courses in agricultural and forestry economics. Outside of work, Dr. Diksha enjoys spending time in nature, particularly exploring hiking trails, and engaging with literature and storytelling through radio documentaries.
