Bidisha Banerjee has two years of professional experience in renewable energy technologies, specializing in innovative applications of solar photovoltaics, such as agriphotovoltaics and building-integrated photovoltaics. Her expertise extends to green hydrogen, covering production, storage, transportation, and financing, as well as bioenergy policies and guidelines and the technical concept of virtual power plants. She has worked as a Young Professional at the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy, Government of India, and as an Analyst at the Center for Study of Science, Technology, and Policy.
Bidisha holds a Master of Technology degree in Renewable Energy Engineering and Management from TERI School of Advanced Studies, New Delhi, a Bachelor of Technology in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Maharaja Agrasen Institute of Technology, New Delhi, and a Diploma in Electrical Engineering from the Board of Technical Education, Government of Delhi.
Bidisha’s areas of interest include technical research on various renewable energy solutions, particularly innovative applications of solar photovoltaics and green hydrogen. Additionally, she is interested in distributed renewable energy, grid integration alternatives, energy financing and policy development and analysis.
