Isha Suri is a lawyer and interdisciplinary researcher working at the intersection of law, economics, and digital infrastructure, with nearly fifteen years of experience across public policy, research, and legal practice. Her work focuses particularly on competition policy, platform governance, intellectual property, and technology regulation. She was a Global AI and Market Power Fellow (2025) at the European AI Society Fund, where she led a research project examining market concentration and infrastructural dependence in the Indian AI ecosystem using mixed methods research combining market analysis, regulatory review, qualitative interviews, and workshops.

Previously, she was Research Lead at the Centre for Internet and Society, India, where she led research programs on digital infrastructure, antitrust, and internet governance. She has also worked with think-tanks including the Indian Council for International Economic Relations (ICRIER) as well as government departments, specifically, the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY). During her time at ICRIER she was part of the team commissioned by the Competition Commission of India to work on the Market Study on the Telecom Sector in India. Earlier in her career, she worked at Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas & Co., on intellectual property matters, including patent prosecution, due diligence, and strategic advisory relating to standard-essential patents.

Isha holds a post graduate degree in law with a specialisation in intellectual property law from IIT Kharagpur, as well as a B.E. in Electrical Engineering.
