This paper on Competition Policy, Development and Developing Countries was prepared for the South Centre, Geneva, by Prof. Ajit Singh and Rahul Dhumale. Prof. Ajit Singh gave a seminar on Competition Policy at ICRIER on November 26, 1999 and raised many pertinent issues on competition policy and its implications in the context of the multilateral trade negotiations within the WTO framework.
