With the overall aim of promoting intra-BIMSTEC trade and economic integration the objective is:
• To improve the capacity of the BIMSTEC member countries to undertake and sustain their trade facilitation reforms, modernization initiatives and compliance monitoring ability; and
• To enhance knowledge of related best practices and emerging trends in trade facilitation among officials in BIMSTEC member countries to adopt international norms. aims to promote India–Japan collaboration by enhancing mutual understanding of women entrepreneurship and identifying opportunities for partnerships between women-led enterprises in both countries.
