Vasudha Upreti is a Research Assistant in the Trade, Investment, and External Relations (TIER) team at ICRIER. She holds a Master’s degree in Economics from Dr. B.R. Ambedkar University, Delhi (2024), and a B.A. (Hons) in Economics from Daulat Ram College, University of Delhi (2022). She has previously interned with the Directorate General of Foreign Trade, Ministry of Commerce and Industry, where she worked with the Services Exports Division.
In addition, she has experience in the startup ecosystem, having worked in the human resources team at the social media startup Pixtsory, and later as a Business Development Associate at Wisdom Tree Consultancy. Her research interests lie in international trade and trade policy, with a focus on gender and trade, regional economic cooperation, global value chains, and trade facilitation.
