As a Consultant at ICRIER, Purvi evaluates the sustainability, productivity, and profitability of agriculture, with a particular emphasis on land, water, and air resources, in the Agriculture Policy, Sustainability and Innovations (APSI) vertical. Her research outputs focus on crucial challenges such as air quality deterioration, water resource depletion, and public funding for sustainable agriculture, with a particular emphasis on improving agriculture research and development.
Her academic background in Economics and a master’s degree in Water Science and Policy, from Shiv Nadar University, Purvi operates at the intersection of natural resource management, climate change, and sustainable agriculture. She has also earned a postgraduate diploma in Environmental Law and Policy from the Centre for Environmental Law, WWF-India, and National Law University, Delhi, demonstrating her commitment to furthering her knowledge and fortifying her expertise in sustainable food systems.
