Dr. Reena Singh as a Senior Fellow Agricultural Policy, Sustainability, and Innovation (APSI) Team.Dr Reena Singh holds a doctorate in microbiology with specific interest in mycorrhiza technologies. She worked at TERI on the execution and diffusion of greener and sustainable agriculture and wasteland agriculture solutions in India for over 20 years (15 years as head of the Centre for Mycorrhizal Research and two years as an Associate Director, Sustainable Agriculture Division). Her work focused on providing strategic inputs and reports for defining research areas, policy analysis, value chain analysis, impact and vulnerability assessment and implementation of projects addressing climate change, agriculture, wasteland management. She has worked on large global projects involving multi-nation and multi-stakeholders. Her research accomplishments, technology dissemination and outreach are demonstrated through funded projects and publications.

Dr. Reena Singh has implemented eight research projects as lead Project Investigator, published 10-articles in peer-reviewed journals and more than 20 general articles. She has been the lead organizer of over 20 training workshops, conferences, webinars, and stakeholders’ consultations. She is the committee member of working group of “Circular Economy in Phospho Gypsum” constituted by DPIIT, Min of Comm & Industry, Govt. of India. Her project “Restoration of Jarofix Yard” at Chanderiya Unit, Hindustan Zinc Ltd has received CII’s award in 2021 for “Most Innovative Environmental Project.
