Raj Kumar Shahi is the Information Technology (IT) Manager at ICRIER with over 15 years of work experience in this field. He has been working at ICRIER since 2006 and maintains the IT infrastructure and provides strategies for implementing IT solutions in the work place. Apart from providing IT solutions, time and again, he has assisted on research projects at ICRIER that require understanding of the IT systems and inputs from the IT field. He has worked on projects for the government and for other international agencies.Raj Kumar was the nodal IT person for Directorate General of Commercial Intelligence and Statistics (DGCI&S) project that aimed to develop an institutional framework for collecting data for trade in services for four sectors namely audio-visual services, logistics services, professional services and telecommunication services. Under the project Raj Kumar helped in identifying and developing the online software and was instrumental in executing the survey and compiling survey inputs. Apart from this, in the past, Raj Kumar has contributed to the study on competition issues in mainframe and associated services in India and co-authored the report on Competition in Mainframe.
Raj Kumar holds a Master of Science Degree in Information Technology (MSc IT) from Sikkim Manipal University, India. He also holds several advanced technical certificates in the IT field.
